who we are...
We are International Students and Americans in the Northern Virginia community. We seek to serve international students at George Mason University through friendship, hospitality, and spiritual discussion. We are a diverse community with people from many cultures and religious backgrounds.
This group came together through the efforts of followers of Jesus Christ, a historic figure believed to be God, Messiah, Lord, and Savior. Many of the volunteers who make possible the activities offered want to share the love Jesus has given them with others. He is the source of their love and the motivation to serve all who participate in this group.
That being said, not everyone in this group is a follower of Jesus. We are truly a diverse community with people from many walks of life and religious backgrounds. Everyone is welcome!
We are people of integrity. We seek to clearly communicate the nature of all of our activities. We believe in maintaining honesty, openness, and sensitivity in the publicity of any activity always encouraging students to self select their participation.
